Emily Coxhead is a British designer, illustrator and happy thing maker.
In December 2015 she published her own newspaper, ‘The Happy News’, which celebrates all that’s good in the world, by sharing positive and uplifting stories from around the globe.
Emily has since published her range of colourful greeting cards with Pigment Productions and has launched her creative journal, ‘Make Someone Happy’ with Penguin Random House.
New gifting from Widdop and Co and stationery from Blueprint have sprinkled a tiny bit of happiness into various high street retailers with extensive listings, John Lewis being a key partner. A new dated range from Portico will follow and partners are being signed for toiletries and confectionery for launch in Spring 2019.
With Mental Health Week commencing on the 30th September, John Lewis will be hosting a series of Happy News events during this week. Emily’s main aim is to add a little bit of sunshine to a person’s day in some way, shape or form, sprinkling a tiny bit of happiness all over this funny old planet.
