First published in 1955, the brand is now over 60 years old. During that time 85 million books have been sold worldwide, encompassing 31 titles in over 50 different languages. Thanks to her simple design and bright colours, Miffy remains as fresh today as ever!
An extensive worldwide licensing programme is in place covering all major product categories. There are now over 250 licensees in more than 40 countries, generating $350 million in annual retail sales.
Miffy is also widely licensed in the UK across multiple products with best in class partners. Master publishing partner Simon and Schuster publish the classic storybooks, as well as their own exciting new formats.
2019 will see the release of a range of new collections. New stationery from licensee Blueprint, clothing and bedding from Tobias and the Bear and Rainbow Designs will be adding to their mint range of nursery accessories.

Miffy Adventures Big and Small, Miffy’s CGI Animation series is a top performing show on the Tiny Pop channel, with the brand new series 3 launched in March 2018. This gives Miffy an entertainment platform, positioning her as a relevant and compelling pre-school property,
Beautifully created by award-winning London based studio, Blue Zoo, each story features Miffy and her friends as they explore the exciting world around them, with expressive animation, simple narrative and cheerful songs.
Broadcast in the UK on TinyPop since launch in October 2015, a second series followed in January 2016, with 3 episodes airing daily at 7.00pm in TinyPop’s best performing ‘Cuddle Time’ slot. Available on Freeview, TinyPop is the fastest growing kids channel in the UK. Miffy’s Adventures Big and Small is now a top-rated show for them, with an audience +28% above their average.
