Miffy’s Adventures revs up with toy and app launch

Miffy’s Adventures Big and Small, currently airing daily on Tiny Pop, now has a range of toys featuring the characters from the show plus a new gaming app for IOS. This roll-out comes ahead of season 3 of the show which is set to air on Tiny Pop this summer.

Rainbow Designs is distributing the new TV toy range, launched initially this month in 20 Debenhams stores across the UK.  The range comprises a large ‘sensory’ Miffy plush – featuring 8 interactive touchpoints from the tip of Miffy’s ear to her foot – plus figurine sets and small talking plush characters. The range is displayed on a branded FSDU with an in-built screen airing clips from the show.

An integrated marketing campaign supported the toy launch, including a 3-week advertising campaign across digital screens in UK shopping malls nationwide together with sponsored TV spots on Tiny Pop, plus costume character appearances and ongoing PR and social media support.

New Miffy’s Adventures App

Fans of Miffy’s Adventures will be able to immerse themselves in the familiar world of the show when a new gaming app for IOS launches on the 9 March.

 

Created by children’s app developer StoryToys in conjunction with Miffy’s publisher Mercis, ‘Miffy’s World’ lets kids play along with their favourite bunny with simple fun activities such helping her pick fruit from a tree or doing a spot of gardening. The app aims to build early cognitive development via interactive play.
