DRi Licensing’s iconic property Miffy stole the limelight at The Baby Show last month. The cute white bunny created by the late Dick Bruna was a hit with reminiscing parents and gift givers visiting the Rainbow Designs’ stand at Olympia.
The essence of Miffy is her simplicity and innocent charm, attributes that have attracted worldwide parental endorsement over the last 60 years. The brand has huge resonance with the consumer inspiring loyalty and genuine affection. And with today’s modern parents increasingly design-conscious and looking for stylish babywear and nursery products, Miffy’s minimalist design and adaptable colour palette plays perfectly to the nursery market.
Spring 2018 will see a host of new Miffy baby products come to market including new babywear lines from Dennicci and a collaboration with high end childrenswear company Tobias and the Bear who will be launching a cute but cool range of Miffy clothing for 0-6 years with their own classic unisex handwriting.
Long term plush partner Rainbow Designs is building on its success with the brand with the launch of two new collections. The new year will see the launch of a range in classic Bruna book colours including new striped and gingham styles, and later in the year a nursery collection will follow in softer fashion colours.
Alicia Davenport, Licensing Director at DRi said, “The response to Miffy at the Baby Show was wonderful to see and it only goes to show what a little star she is. 2018 is going to be a very exciting one for this cute bunny!”
