The world will be a happier place following the launch of joyful new products designed by the inspiring 25-year-old, Emily Coxhead!
The extensive new stationery and gift ranges from Blueprint and Widdop & Co are flying out of John Lewis and will roll out across the high street over the next few months.
As a growing brand amongst DRi Licensing’s portfolio, The Happy News plays to the public groundswell for wellbeing and mindfulness. The bright and cheery new products feature uplifting and motivational messages, combined with Emily’s unique hand-drawn illustrations in contemporary colours and styling.
The Happy News began life in 2015 as an inspiring quarterly newspaper crammed full of positive news stories from around the world. Designed and illustrated by Emily, the newspaper is jam-packed with optimistic real-life stories from across the globe.
Emily’s mission is to ‘sprinkle a tiny bit of happiness all over the planet’. “Seeing my products in John Lewis is a dream come true”, said Emily. “So much love has gone into them and it makes me the happiest to see them making people smile.”
Celebrity supporters of The Happy News include Richard Branson, who recently gave a big ‘thumbs up’ for Emily’s new book called Make Someone Happy.
Already established on the high street are Pigment’s heart-warming greeting cards with dated lines from Portico following in the autumn.
